My Approach to Helping

I believe that each client is a complete person, a growing organism who "knows" on some level what she or he needs in order to thrive, and can find the way to her or his own truth. I see my role as providing a safe and accepting space and time in which that growth may take place and providing witness and company for you as you heal and grow. I see the therapy session as a sacred time for you. It is critically important that you feel safe in the knowledge that I must learn from you about how you are best helped. It is time to examine choices and see where there are choices you may not have been considering. It can be daunting, but you needn't feel alone as you proceed.

More Info About My Practice

I bring many years of experience and of course training to my practice of psychotherapy. Just as important are my compassion and my humility, my intellect and my humor. I love working in psychotherapy and having the privilege of accompanying others as they discover possibilities, heal themselves, and become more of the person they'd like to be.
