What's My Approach to Therapy?
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a safe and genuine conversation. My role is to listen closely, help you feel understood, and work with you to uncover patterns that may be holding you back. I draw on both psychotherapy and psychiatry, so we can address the whole picture—your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and, when helpful, medication support. I value collaboration and tailor treatment to each person’s unique story and goals. My hope is that our work together not only eases current struggles but also helps you grow in ways that feel meaningful and lasting.
My Practice & Services
I work with adults and older adolescents facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Sessions are available in person at my Lutherville Timonium office, via telehealth, or in a flexible hybrid format. To help you get a sense of my approach, I offer a free 15-minute initial phone consultation. My practice is built on warmth, collaboration, and privacy, with the goal of creating a space where you feel comfortable exploring your experiences and making meaningful change.
Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With
I have particular experience supporting individuals who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem concerns, and life transitions. I also work with those struggling with relationship challenges, life stressors, and the lingering impact of difficult family dynamics. Many of my patients come to me feeling stuck in patterns of self-criticism, perfectionism, or people-pleasing, and we work together to build insight, resilience, and healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
