My Approach to Helping

I provide a therapeutic environment and relationship for families, adults, adolescents, and children to make positive changes. As a previous therapist at The Children's Hospital I have worked with many families and individuals struggling with environmental, generational, emotional, and psychiatric issues. I provide a genuine connection with my clients in their journey to change and heal. Therapy facilitates self discovery by unpacking one's story, identifying the emotions, and then working towards change. I understand that for some people entering therapy can be intimidating. My empathetic presence and knowledge assists in alleviating my client's fears. I specialize in assessing the needs of my clients in order to create positive outcomes. To engage children, I utilize play and art therapy techniques. When working with adults and adolescents, my approach includes empowerment, self-awareness, and emotional regulation. I bring multigenerational, structural, and relational therapies into my family practice.
