Additionally, when site visitors email a therapist through our internal messaging system, they are automatically subscribed to our monthly email newsletter. Users may unsubscribe from this newsletter by completing the form found here.
(B) GoodTherapy.org collects information entered by therapists when they register (or try to register) for membership or public membership. The information about the therapist's practice is made public and can be viewed in any therapist profile. The other information (including but not limited to username, email address, password, etc) is kept private in a database and may be used by our internal departments if needed (such as debugging errors or analyzing outcome of marketing campaigns). However, GoodTherapy.org never rents, sells or gives this information to any third party.
(C) GoodTherapy.org collects site visitor email addresses when site visitors subscribe to the blog. This email is used to send site visitors blog post or blog comment summaries and site visitors can unsubscribe anytime using unsubscribe option(s) found in the email and/or on the site. GoodTherapy.org never rents, sells or gives this information to any third party.
(D) GoodTherapy.org collects information entered by site visitors when they register (or try to register) for a public web-conference or public non-professional membership. This information (including but not limited to name, username, email address, password, etc) is kept private in a database and may be used by our internal departments if needed (such as debugging errors or analyzing outcome of marketing campaigns). However, GoodTherapy.org never rents, sells or gives this information to any third party.
(H) GoodTherapy.org may use other Web Analytics services and/or software to collect information about your browsing activities. This information is used to analyze the performance of the site and associated marketing campaigns. Our Website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the Web site, their information is protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with SSL.
