My Approach to Helping
I offer simple sacred solutions to women who want to live beautifully in their bodies. I love this work and have been in practice for 25 years and overcome my own eating disorder. Even if you fear that you'll be "the one" that can't succeed please know, everyone is afraid that they'll be "the one". By the time women find me they've been failed by numerous programs and "gurus". But in my experience, with the right support, a new perspective, a way to trust your own intuitive-knowing and guidance, learning to reconnect with your body and it's wisdom, and the perfect blend of tools for you, things unfold beautifully and we naturally return to wholeness.
I work with women whose heart and commitment are bigger than their fears or their skepticism. If you're curious or this speaks to you, I'd love to hear from you.

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

I specialize in working with women around eating and weight related issues. Have developed a powerful approach and have a high success rate with all forms of overeating/binge eating/purging or bulimia, and laxative abuse. ALthough results are powerful, approach is gentle and supportive.

My Therapy Focus

I help women learn to trust themselves via intuition and clearing old stagnant stuck energies and beliefs while building in the "Daily Essentials" of beautiful loving self-care. Cannot go "head to head" with eating issues, have to provide and fill ourselves up with beauty and living in our senses and present-time before releasing the eating/weight issues.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

Trust your intuition but know that fear often blocks our best guidance. Let yourself find somebody who's the right match for you, and trust yourself. Also know that making a serious investment, including a financial one, will allow you to take your work seriously and make the proper space for it. Make sure you connect with somebody who will provide the optimum amount of access for you- my programs are intensive and allow for daily connection to best move through big shifts most comfortably. You will always feel supported and able to get immediate feedback while you are making the changes you want.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist

Of course- my own struggles with a longstanding eating disorder (binge eating) drove me to find and create the best pieces and techniques to support my clients. I was so passionate around finding relief and a better way than what was out there (the Diet Industry and many specialists who still really didn't get it) that clients feel remarkably understood and respond well to the perspective I can offer them. Themes around perfectionism, giving too much/not having protective boundaries are big in this work- it's sometimes about the food, but so much more. Also, women need to know how to clear the discomfort and swirling noisy thoughts that go with the eating issues. Because I knew these pieces so intimately, my programs are effective and the work feels cradling and super supportive to my amazing clients.
