My Approach to Helping
Dr. Morris believes that our issues in life can effect us physically, psychologically, and spiritually. This means for instance that a person that was traumatized as a child by an authority figure my have digestive problems (physical) that may be tied to periods of panic (psychological and physical) and they could also have problems relating to God because they see Him as an authority figure (spiritual). Dr. Morris believes that many times all of these conditions should be addressed in therapy if one is to have a successful outcome and not have similar reoccurring symptoms. That is why he has training in all three areas. Dr. Morris holds a Bachelors Degree in Bible allowing him to address spiritual issues and a Masters and Doctorate Degree in Counseling Psychology allowing him to address the psychological. He also has specialized training in the use of an FDA Type II Medical Device called the Biomeridian that assists him to diagnosing and treating corollary psychiatric/physical conditions. Being able to assist the patient in all three of these key areas can sometimes mean the difference between success and failure in therapy.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy
The purpose of psychotherapy is to move the person toward becoming physically, socially, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually actualized. This begins by supporting the individuals current values and goals that they have not been able to place into action as well as additional values and goals that will also assist them in acquiring the life success that they hope to attain in the end.
