My Approach to Helping

It is my belief that every person is sometimes in need of a listening ear, to work through the difficult bumps in the road of life. Many times it takes an outside perspective to help see what the problems may be and how to overcome them. I also see that relationships are an important aspect of one's life and view relationships as highly influential to the way we are as individuals. Each person is different, so I utilize techniques that best meet your goals and needs. Understanding that self-discovery can sometimes be a difficult and painful process, I also work at your pace, based on your comfort level. I strive to provide empathy and a space free of judgment for us to explore together the possible solutions to life's difficulties and challenges.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love bearing witness the process of change in people. Whether it be discovering something about yourself that you never knew, fixing a problem in your life, or becoming an even stronger person for yourself and those around you, I think that it's amazing to see that change happen. I feel that I'm a good listener and everything I hear about a person's life experience is interesting to me. I also love to see the courage in those who take the step to improve themselves. My role as a therapist is to help you through the process of change. I don't have all the answers, but hopefully in our journey, we can come up with the answers together! I want you to feel heard and listened to, free of any judgment. I want you to feel safe and comfortable. Finally, I want you to walk on this path of self-discovery, at your own pace, as I walk alongside, with any guidance you may need.
