My Approach to Helping
" Therapy is a useful way to sort out feelings, find solutions and build new skills. My style of work is gentle and at the same time solution focused. My belief is that the client is in charge of their own healing. My role in the work is to be a guide. I bring my skills, expertise and my self to the work. The work of therapy requires a flexible approach which is tailored to each client's needs. My training is - cognitive/behavioral and Jungian. I tend to be holistic in my approach and hold a certificate of training in EMDR and IFS, Internal Family Systems Therapy. We use conjoint couples counseling working with couples. Which is two therapists working in partnership with couples and families. Couples groups and conjoint experiential psychotherapy make Eventide Counseling Services a unique practice made up of independent licensed therapists. "
