My Approach to Helping
Welcome! My goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive and compassionate environment in which to heal. I help my clients reduce their suffering and learn to live more fully in the present. I believe that we all do and can change and that each of us has access to a place of inner peace and wisdom and that you can learn to live from that place on a daily basis.
I am also an author and have published 6 self-help books, including "Transcending Loss," "Shortcuts to Inner Peace," "Simple Self-Care for Therapists", and "75 Habits for a Happy Marriage." I specialize in grief and loss, divorce recovery, anxiety, EMDR (trauma/PTSD) treatment, stress management, and couple relationships. I believe that we grow through every experience in our lives and that meaning can be found in any situation. I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples and EMDR.
