My Approach to Helping
Hello, my name is Dr. Carole Brooks, therapist and owner of Diamond Counseling. I provide evening, Saturday and daytime hours to fit your busy schedule. My office is conveniently located at Hampden and Wadsworth. I try to respond quickly to your emails and voicemails. Depending on your needs and place in life, I focus on issues like depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, grief, domestic violence, anger, parenting and provide specialized teen and child counseling. I also provide crime victim counseling for children, teens and adults victimized in Jefferson, Denver, Adams and Broomfield counties.
My clients find me likeable and enjoy my humor and outgoingness mixed with deep insight and direction concerning their deepest issues. My child and teen clients particularly enjoy my humor. I am a full-time licensed professional counselor and also work as an adjunct professor at Colorado Christian University teaching adult learners.

How My Own Struggles Made Me a Better Therapist
Like my clients, I have faced hardships (both as a child and an adult). I face many of the same challenges of being a mother, wife, and business woman. I use my past struggles to empathize with my clients' struggles and concerns. I genuinely want to see my clients overcome their concerns and thrive. Most people just need someone to believe in them, and I am often honored to do that for my clients.
