My Approach to Helping

Lately, I am identifying myself as both an existential and psychoanalytic psychologist. What this basically means is that my diverse range of folks that I see have one essential thing in common (other than myself). I care deeply about making meaning in a relational context. My practice is about facilitating growth through relationship, and having clients become better able to not just relieve symptoms, but to know themselves on a deeper level, to be more open to experience life, and toward living life with greater presence, engagement, and fulfillment. My work is relational, and I hold firmly the belief in client's resiliency and their capacity to heal and discover. I am presently looking forward to fostering new relationships and facilitating a space of growth, healing, and discovery. I bring to my work a deep commitment to individual empowerment as well as compassionate caring. I believe new possibilities emerge within relationships, and look forward to helping clients discover authentic ways of being in the world with newer possibility and hope for change. I truly love this work. I am passionate about it, and am looking forward to the next chapter and new relationships it will bring, as well as deepening the relationships I currently have.
