My Approach to Helping
Starting therapy is a difficult step to take because you are telling yourself that I am broken and something is wrong with me, but it is the opposite. Therapy will help you open your true self to yourself, to your family, to friends, and to the world. We understand that asking for help can be daunting, but believe us, it will be one of the most satisfying and rewarding experiences you will ever have for yourself that will benefit not just you but also everyone that’s around you. Reaching out to a therapist can be overwhelming and, at times, frightening. Exhale, take a moment, call, or email and let us figure out how we can help.
Life is already hard enough; don’t let yourself, bad relationships, trauma, depression, and anxiety contribute to the list of things you must tackle on your own. I am here to help you free yourself from all those emotional burdens that you carry on a day-to-day basis. Let me help you free yourself of the continuous emotional pain that causes you mental and sometimes physical pain.
I have 20 years of experience in the field of social services. I specialized in utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focus therapy, dialect behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy to help you manage your mental health symptoms. I provide a safe space with non-judgmental and active listening to ensure that my patients are heard, validated, and listened to. I encouraged and prescribed daily self-care for my clients. Our goal is holistic: mind, body, and soul.
