My Approach to Helping
You may have been feeling anxious for a while or feeling persistently sad; you may want to correct some of the dysfunctional patterns in your life and improve the quality of your relationships; you may feel stuck and unable to move forward in life. Perhaps you have found yourself entangled with self-blame or even self-hatred. Whatever you have gone through in the past or what you are going through right now, you do not have to continue to suffer. You have taken the first step towards change.
To help you make positive change, I will employ appropriate therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches to examine your pain points and explore your values and your thought patterns. I hope that through working with me, you will gain insight into how your thought patterns impact the way you feel and behave. During this process, you will be likely to feel grounded, confident, and empowered. You will be likely to gain more internal resources to cope with future challenges and reach a psychological balance where you feel more functional, productive, and at ease. Furthermore, you may develop a growing acceptance of yourself and others as they are.
I have over 17 years of experience providing psychotherapy. I have extensive experience working with people of all ages. My most recently developed expertise is with the older adult population. Regardless of your age, sexual orientation, sexual identity, cultural and racial background, I respect who you are, and I am interested to learn more about you. Please feel free to contact me for a free consult.
