My Approach to Therapy

No matter how hard you try to move forward, it can feel like something keeps pulling you back. Anxiety, depression, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties, or unhealthy coping patterns may continue showing up despite your efforts to create change. You may find yourself stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, overthinking, avoiding difficult emotions, shutting down, or feeling disconnected from yourself and others. Often, these struggles are rooted in trauma, painful relationships, chronic stress, or unmet emotional needs that continue to affect how you think, feel, and relate to the world around you. I specialize in trauma and PTSD, and use EMDR and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients process painful experiences and break free from patterns that no longer serve them. Together, we will work toward greater healing, flexibility, and connection so you can move forward with confidence and purpose. Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially when you've been carrying things on your own for a long time. You do not have to face it alone. Therapy can provide a space to feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward the life you want.
