My Approach to Helping
Do you find yourself constantly avoiding experiences, even though they are important to you? Difficulty with controlling thoughts and behaviors that take you away from who you want to be? Having worked in different roles in mental health services for 8 years, these experiences are all too common in our world today as we tend to avoid those thoughts, feelings, and experiences that are difficult. I work with clients to help them develop skills and abilities to engage in actions that are lead by their values, even during the most difficult times in life. I am passionate in working with adults with trauma, depression, and anxiety.
I am trained in several modalities including EMDR to help client’s process traumatic or difficult events that they may continue to experience and disrupt their lives. I am also trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help clients lead valued based lives. My is hope is to give you the skills and knowledge to live a full and meaningful life.
