In my 16+ years of practice, I have worked with almost every type of client and an array of issues, though my primary focus has been on clients with substance use issues and mood disorders.
I have a generally directive approach while fully respecting your right to choose and live your life as you see fit. I primarily work from a Cognitive Behavioral, Person-Centered, and Solution-Focused frame of reference. I also use techniques and tools from Motivational Interviewing and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
