My Approach to Helping

Licensed in CO and MA. It’s like a video stuck on a loop that keeps playing over, and over, and over… You can’t get the images out of your head. Looking over your shoulder, being easily frightened; it wasn’t you before, but it is now. Things look bleaker than they did before it happened. Remembering or not remembering, you’re unsure of which is worse. Is this your new normal? To others, you look like you’re keeping it together. It couldn’t be farther from the truth. You’re hiding behind a thin veil of normalcy and you're worried about what would happen if the curtain were pulled back.

So, is there any good news? Yes! With the right therapy, trauma-related struggles are some of the most treatable mental health conditions. I am trained in an approach called EMDR which helps you recall disturbing experiences and reprocess them. This causes your memories to feel more neutral or even peaceful when recalled- bringing harmony back to your life.

It’s time to deal with the past and that’s why you’re still reading. Give me a call today to schedule a free 20-minute phone call. It's not too late to get back to who you are and what you want your life to be! I am located in Loveland, CO and I am licensed to provide teletherapy to anyone in Colorado and Massachusetts.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

The signs that a therapist is a right fit for you are simple and clear. You should walk away feeling that you were heard and cared for during your session. Why would anyone ever come back if they didn?t feel this way?

Your therapist should also transparently lay out treatment options and a clear road map of where you are going. Whether you have come to me to address your anxiety, trauma, depression, or sensitivity, I have a plan for you in mind, and together we will refine it to make it personal to YOU.

We will actively monitor your progress together. I will check in regularly to see how things are going.
Why spend precious resources (time and money) if you don?t know if you?re getting better? The methods I use are designed to help you see tangible progress in a relatively short amount of time. In session, you?ll find that my style is gentle yet direct. You?ll find that I am very much attuned to your needs.
