My Approach to Helping
Do most things in your life feel overwhelming? Do you feel like life is happening to you too fast? Do you feel strong, intense, emotions and it's affecting your life? Therapy is a safe and non-judgmental space for you to explore and untangle the different parts of your life. During our time together, we will explore your emotions, thoughts, and experiences to gain insight into the things going on in your life. We will then work to equip you with the tools you need to build a life you envision for yourself and adapt to adversity. I provide a safe space to be seen, heard and to receive support.
I specialize in the treatment of personality disorders such as borderline personality disorder & obsessive-compulsive personality disorder. My treatment approach draws largely from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). However, no treatment modality is a one size fits all, therefore treatment is tailored to each persons needs.
