My Approach to Helping
In over thirty years of years of working with individuals, couples and families, I have found that no one person is the same and each situation unique. Finding out what you want, and need is an individualized process and one that takes time, commitment and effort. We know that traumatic situations of the past can keep us stuck and unable to experience joy in the moment. As with any journey, we learn things along the way, and grow in ways we did not perceive possible. Finding our path to happiness and healing make take on many forms. In my approach to healing, I promote the mind, body, spirit connection. As such, we talk about the food we eat, the living conditions that make us feel safe or unsafe, relationships, exercise, spiritual connection, friendships, work, school, and the communities we live in. We are a person within a larger environment and our connection to world in which we live and the people to whom we relate is critically important.
