My Approach to Helping
Hi, I’m Tamie. I have been in the counseling field for over 12 years. I enjoy working with anyone who wants a change in their life. I believe that counseling is a way to assist people in moving forward toward meeting their goals and being their most successful selves. My sessions consist of me listening to what you want to work on, talking with you about what you are comfortable doing to create change, and creating a plan to reach your goals. I do not use just one type of counseling but several types of counseling so that I can tailor the session to meet your needs. I am versed in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and other humanistic types of therapy.
