My Approach to Helping
My counseling style includes the tenets of empathy, authenticity, and humor while focusing the client on the here and now. I incorporate multiple biofeedback and neuropsychological treatments to enhance the traditional talk therapy setting. I have a passion for helping others maneuver through all of life’s complexities. As a military veteran and spouse to an active duty military member, I have a unique understanding of the difficulties being military affiliated brings, for adults and children alike. I served two combat tours working as a transport medic in the US Air Force and have seen first-hand the difficulties of returning to home life. I am passionate about assisting other military members with a successful transition into civilian life.
I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Troy University, graduating magna cum laude, and am projected to graduate with a Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Wilmington University in May 2021. I am committed to helping you become the best version of yourself and am honored to walk that path with you!
