My Approach to Helping

I help individuals who are struggling with strained relationships, stress, overwhelm, lack of motivation, juggling family responsibilities.

Using a combination of cognitive approaches like ACT and DBT, I help these individuals identify their values and think more flexibly so they can break negative cycles holding them back from living the life they want. Through our work together, my clients develop problem-solving skills, become less stressed out and worried, and feel more confident and content. My clients begin to experience more fulfilling relationships, have tools to navigate intense emotions, and can better prioritize self-care for total wellness.

To learn more, call me today at 512-994-1600. We'll conduct a free, 15 minute phone consultation to ensure we are a good match. We'll discuss your needs, goals for treatment, and how I can help. I'll answer any questions about investment and scheduling. From there, you'll have the option of in person or virtual sessions.

More Info About My Practice

Specific Issue(s) I'm Skilled at Helping With

My clients are often living with intense feelings of anxiety, stress, anger and sadness. They are dealing with difficult relationships, and so busy caring for others that it seems impossible to take care of themself.

Importance of the Client-Therapist Alliance

The counselor-client relationship accounts for a huge part of your success in therapy, so it's important to find a counselor you connect with. You'll want someone you can trust and who understands where you are coming from. It's even better if you can find someone who shares your values, and I'm a good fit for people who prefer a Christian therapist.
