My Approach to Helping
I enjoy helping my clients improve their health through spiritual, mental, physical, and interpersonal growth. I have a passion for helping adult women that have suffered from past trauma, depression, or difficult life transitions (ie. grief, divorce, birth, etc). I am currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity in Christian Discipleship at Regent University.
I have a biblical worldview that incorporates empathy, love, and compassion into my counseling. I use faith-based counseling as a foundation of therapy but am also certified in EMDR and often use Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I believe in a holistic and interactive approach to therapy.
With time and the right approach, it can get better! I can teach you new skills, explore your concerns together, and help you understand your mental health on a deeper level, achieving balance in spiritual, mental, physical, and social well-being.
