As a provider with a family member with lived mental health experience, I understand the value of mental wellness for my patients.
Sheila is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with experience in treating a wide range of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, insomnia, schizoaffective disorders, OCD, and dementia. As a PMHNP, Sheila is passionate about providing quality medication management while incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, providing education, and advocating for overall mental wellness. Sheila completed her Masters of Science (MSN) degree at Walden University. She has a strong background in behavioral health both as a nurse (7yrs) and as a PMHNP. She has a passion for building a strong rapport with patients, incorporating evidence-based practices in medication management and cognitive behavioral therapy. Her overall goal is to work with the patient in developing the most efficient treatment plan for optimal well-being. You are a unique individual, before a diagnosis.
