What's My Approach to Therapy?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, uncertain, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel sustainable, you don’t have to have it all figured out before starting therapy... after all, that's exactly why you want to start your therapy journey! I offer a thoughtful, collaborative space where you can slow things down, feel heard, and begin making sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.
My role is to support you in gaining clarity, understanding patterns, and identifying practical next steps that feel manageable and meaningful. Sessions are purposeful, yet flexible, allowing us to focus on what matters most to you, while moving at a pace that feels respectful and grounded.
Whether you’re navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or ongoing stress, our work is centered on helping you move forward with greater insight, steadiness, and confidence in your decisions.
My Practice & Services
In addition to individual and couples counseling, a significant part of my work focuses on coaching, consulting, and people development within teams and organizations. I provide professional speaking, workshop facilitation, and customized training centered on team building, communication, leadership development, strengths-based work, and navigating change in complex work environments.
I also offer mediation services and professional coaching for individuals, leaders, and teams seeking greater clarity, alignment, and effective collaboration. My approach is practical, engaging, and grounded in real-world application, supporting healthier working relationships and stronger organizational functioning.
These services are offered under separate agreements and are distinct from psychotherapy services.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
Going to therapy does not mean you are weak, broken, or incapable. In my experience, many people who seek therapy are thoughtful, responsible, and accustomed to handling a lot on their own. Reaching out often reflects awareness and a desire to be intentional about how you move forward?not a failure to cope.
Therapy is a space to pause, reflect, and gain perspective, especially when life feels complex, overwhelming, or uncertain. It?s not about fixing what?s ?wrong? with you, but about better understanding yourself, your patterns, and what you need in order to navigate life with greater clarity and steadiness.
Choosing therapy is often a sign of strength: recognizing that support can be useful, growth is ongoing, and you don?t have to carry everything alone.
