My Approach to Helping

Sometimes it can feel just too hard to move forward. It feels like whatever you do next will be wrong. It can feel like emptiness will just overtake you or even like it's just too hard to breathe. Let me be the support you need to find the right step, to find the confidence you need to move forward. You do not have to face challenges alone.

As a collaborative therapist, I work to make sure therapy successfully meets your needs. It is in the process we can grow and find solutions. The story of your life is captivating and within it lies the answers we seek. Together, we can manage what seems unmanageable. You are the key to your solution.

As an art therapist, I find creative ways to reach our goals. Art is not just an end result, but also a process. Within the creative space, we delve into a safe world to explore the problem as it appears. We can dig into the many levels and facets. Together, we can examine and move forward away from the problem.

More Info About My Practice

I work from a perspective of making sure therapy works for you. Change in life can be disorienting and make it really difficult to figure out where to go next. When you decide to start therapy, it can be a really confusing time.

My goal is to create a safe space you need to clear up this confusion. We work as a team to find solutions and manage the situation. I incorporate art therapy and mindfulness as you see fit. Personally, I have found both to be incredibly beneficial in my own life. I want to give this gift to you.

You do not have to manage it all alone. We can work together.

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

This work allows me to find obstacles with you and remove them. Watching someone leave my office happier than when they arrived, is the best feeling. It may seem weird, but my favorite moments are when someone tells me that they think they are done with therapy. They know I will always be there for them if they want to return. Yet, they are ready to use the tools I have given them to succeed in the world. What I love is being able to be the support you need when you need it!
