My Approach to Helping
Feeling stuck? Struggling to identify goals? Or maybe feeling as if your body image and relationship to food has become overwhelming? Whether you are having a hard time answering these questions or the answers are ingrained in you, I am here to support you! Authenticity and empowerment are the focus of my therapeutic style. Together, let's take a look at what is and is not serving you in life right now. Let's start by grounding down & taking a meaningful breath. I work through story, tools and feedback to help clients identify what is limiting them in life to ultimately, help them realign with their true self.
I specialize in eating disorders alongside self-esteem and stress management issues. I conceptualize eating disorders as a means to cope with life stressors and focus on the root functions the behaviors have served. I help clients identify more adaptive and authentic ways to be in the world and in relationships, especially with themselves.
I'm also a registered yoga and meditation teacher. The practice has offered me not only solace, but a community of supportive and safe souls. I would love to extend such an experience. You are not on this journey of self-discovery alone. I am humbled to meet you where you are at and honored to provide a safe space.
