My Approach to Helping
I believe strongly in a person’s capacity for change and contentment. I will use a collaborative, supportive, and skills-based approach to help you reach your short- and long-term goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, a Certified Cognitive Therapist, a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, an iaedp-approved Eating Disorder Supervisor, and the Founder & Clinical Director of Union Square Cognitive Therapy. The expert therapists in my practice and I all practice cognitive-behavioral therapy, which is a short-term, present-oriented treatment focused on developing new, healthier coping skills. Within each therapy session, we target the problematic thoughts, behavioral patterns, and emotions that are keeping you stuck and unhappy. I enjoy helping clients of all ages manage their anxiety, depression, ADHD, body image, disordered eating, OCD, and relationship and work stressors. I am seeing clients in person and via telehealth. I offer a complimentary phone consultation so we can decide together if we're a good match to work together.
