My Approach to Helping
I have seen that nothing is set in stone, and that solutions are within reach when looking for relief from anxiety, self doubt, depression and a general sense of stress and overwhelm. I help you pay attention to the inner strengths that you already possess, as well as become aware of any thought & behavior patterns that might be blocking the very changes you want in yourself andor in your relationships. Working together, you can discover and build a more effective skill set for making those changes so you feel calmer, more capable, and more content.
The youth and adults in my practice often want help with personal growth, workschool challenges, parenting guidance, relationship conflict, griefloss, divorce, and the effects of various life transitions. My therapeutic approach includes, but not limited to insight oriented, psychodynamic, emotionally focused therapy, CBT and psycho-education.
