My Approach to Helping
I believe through a nurturing, positive relationship, we can explore root causes of depression, anxiety, and life dissatisfaction. Through this process, we can begin to re-shape the self to feel confident, peaceful, and hopeful. Change comes out of conflict, and healing begins when we feel safe. We will cultivate a space where you feel safe to explore your internal and external conflicts, and together we will move toward change.
As a strength-based, trauma-informed therapist, I believe that you are the expert in your life, and that you are doing the best you can. Together we will identify patterns that have worked and the ones you would like to change. We will develop specific skills that will help you find meaning, peace, and balance in your life.
