My Approach to Helping
As a person-centered, strengths based therapist, you are the leader in our sessions. We will work together to increase self-acceptance and self-esteem, while identifying areas of growth in your life. By focusing on your strengths, we can work through conflict and life changes in ways that capitalize on the strength inside of you. Throughout our sessions, we will navigate difficult life transitions to instill hope and satisfaction, while emphasizing mindfulness and healing.
Sharing your life with someone can seem daunting, so I strive to create a non-judgmental, neurodivergent affirming, and accepting environment where you feel safe to explore challenging ideas and get to know yourself. My areas of experience are anxietydepression, trauma, grief, attachment, and relationship re-focus. I also have extensive experience in career counseling and career change.
As your therapist, I hope to work with you to instill confidence in yourself to make difficult changes in your life and know that you have the strength to work through hard things. It would be an honor to walk alongside you on your healing journey.
