My Approach to Helping
I believe that as a therapist I can encourage growth and understanding by listening and helping the individual or family. In a nonjudgemental, empathic, and collaborative approach, healing can happen. We work together to overcome problems or situations. It's important to have the open communication and trust so we can work together. Depending on the moment, I suggest books, meetings, movies and other tools that may help you. My main goal is to help you.

I am willing to discuss any concerns or questions that you may have. I also understand that fees may be an issue and that there is a sliding scale fee for those who may need it. Please feel free to phone or email me beforehand to figure out if the therapist/ client relationship can work and to answer any questions you may have.
What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist
I love to help people work on their immediate and/or long term concerns. Its a wonderful feeling when progress is made. I love it when I can make a difference for someone. The journey may be short or long but working through the issue together is very fulfilling.
Why Going to Therapy Does Not Mean You are Weak or Flawed
No one should ever feel flawed for going to therapy. No one should be judged for asking for help. I feel that therapy is a tool and guide for people to work on themselves or form better relationships. It's a place to feel safe. I hope that the stigma of going to counseling will disappear.
The Duration and Frequency of Therapy
Depending on what the issue/concerns are sessions can be short or long. I believe working together is very important. I can meet once a week or twice a month, depending on what is needed.
