My Approach to Helping

If you're unsatisfied with the status quo, then let's find your sublime. Adults looking for a creative outlet, a place to vent, or support for hard times are my ideal clients. I specialize in anxiety and depression, work stress and career goals, identity or relationship issues, life changes or traumatic events. Unusual tales and winding paths are welcome—there is no judgment for any stories you bring. You are accepted wholeheartedly with caring curiosity. I'm here to support you, protect you from harm, and give you guidance along a path of your choosing. Together, we'll help you find freedom of expression and the potential to grow.

I use a client-centered, collaborative, and creative approach. I have an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Art Therapy from Antioch University Seattle. The focus of my training was on expressive and creative arts therapy, an experiential approach to psychotherapy that emphasizes the creative process for exploring difficult situations, processing experiences, seeing different perspectives, and promoting well-being. With my clients, I've listened to music, watched videos, reviewed journals and social media, and made art in session as a powerful way to communicate, especially if you're having difficulty finding the words otherwise.

I'm based in Vancouver, WA and I offer online counseling and therapy to adults in Washington State via my private practice, Sublime Online. I also offer in-person services locally to Vancouver and Portland residents at my office in Salmon Creek. With my private and secure service, you get professional mental health counseling at a time and place that works for you. Get started today by contacting me or scheduling a free consultation. You can easily book online by visiting my website.
