My Approach to Helping

Christian counselor who helps individuals to overcome their past traumas and move on with their lives. You may have felt broken by difficulties in your life. After such experiences, your feelings changed completely. We experience terrible situations or moments sometimes in life. Events like that have a significant influence on us, sometimes even severely. Some of those interactions alter how we feel on the inside and how we interact with others. Such moments can wreak havoc on life without any clear sense of where they originated or how they began.

Hey, I am Michelle. I am a CBT, Ego States, and EMDR-trained therapist who also incorporates and uses a Christian counseling approach to treatment. I assist individuals in overcoming their prior struggles and traumas so they may develop into the persons God intended them to be. We'll examine your life experiences and change the misguided negative thoughts via our work together. You'll learn mindfulness practices that build your faith and strengthen your inner resources to feel strong and in control of your emotions. You'll rebuild your internal landscape to feel better and more encouraged using some of the most effective therapies now accessible, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and Ego States Therapy, as well as the power of the Holy Spirit.

Something from your past prevents you from leading a more realistic and satisfying life. Start your quest toward releasing yourself from it right now. Think of yourself as having clear thoughts and a self-assured smile that indicates, "I know who I am and where I am going." Connect with those that make you happy. Stop wasting time on these burdens now. Learn who you are and stop letting other people control your life.
