What's My Approach to Therapy?
You may look like you have it together on the outside, but inside, you feel overwhelmed, behind, and exhausted from trying to keep up. If you have ADHD, grew up feeling misunderstood, or learned early on to push through and perform, it can feel like you’re constantly holding things together while quietly burning out.
Hi, I'm Stacy. I work with adults impacted by ADHD and childhood trauma, including the long-term effects of growing up feeling misunderstood, unseen, or responsible for managing too much too early. These experiences often show up later as overthinking, people-pleasing, emotional overwhelm, imposter syndrome, and deep self-criticism — not because something is wrong with you, but because your nervous system adapted to survive.
In therapy, we focus on understanding you without the mask of over-functioning. Together, we gently connect past experiences to present-day patterns, reduce shame-based self-criticism, and help you build self-trust so you can make choices based on what you actually want — not what you feel you should do.
You don’t have to keep pushing through alone.
