My Approach to Helping
Finding a therapist is not easy and chances are
you’re either questioning if you need to go to counseling at all, or telling yourself you can handle whatever is going on, by yourself. Most of the time, we wait a long time before we reach out for support to take care of our mental health. If you are confused, feeling stuck, struggling with some pain, or concerned about your child or family, I hope you seek support and find the right therapist for you. Prioritizing your mental health is prioritizing you and your goals in life.
I work with depression, anxiety, self-esteem, adjusting to life changes, and relationship issues. My foundation is in Family Systems, I graduated from Pepperdine University in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. Additionally, I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Dialectical Behavioral therapy, and Solution Focus. I enjoy working with children, teens, young adults, families, and parents.
I work to create an environment free from judgment that helps you grow and accept whatever situation you may be struggling with. I also help you create positive change to reach the goal or place you want to achieve in your life. I assist you in learning and gaining the coping skills you need to become stronger in the face of life’s hardest challenges and to reach your goals beyond your time in counselingtherapy.
