My Approach to Helping

Since 2005, I have worked with adult women around issues of anxiety, stress, overwhelm, emotional eating, family of origin issues, LGBTQ issues including coming out later in life, trauma resolution and more. Major life transitions such as loss, grieving, the aging process, chronic pain and chronic illness are additional areas of focus in my work. My therapeutic approaches include psychodynamic (insight-oriented), somatic (body-based) and feminist theory. My expertise includes meditation and mindfulness, EFT Tapping (acupressure), Progressive Counting, and Hypnosis as well as other Somatic, body-based distress resolution skills.
