My name is Melanie Lapeyrolerie and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Los Angeles, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with adults ages 18-65+ and specialize in anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, alcohol, and substance abuse disorders, and use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help my clients feel better and improve in their daily lives.
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with.
I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic theory, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as these modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of their reality, and allow us to work together making progress along the course of therapy to resolve issues and heal from emotional disturbances that impact relationships, work and daily functioning.
