My Approach to Helping

If your anxiety, self-doubt, or anger is affecting your relationships, your job or your happiness, keeping you from fully enjoying life, then let's talk; if you feel lost or being pulled in different directions, then let's get you back on track; if you are in the Entertainment Business andor have a demanding job with specific challenges that interfere with achieving creative success and a sense of fulfillment, I would love to help you thrive and reach your fullest potential.

Through a process of increased self-awareness, and acquisition of practical skills you can use right away, you will become more proficient at managing those intrusive thoughts (negative self-talk, persistent worry, constant disappointment, need to be right) that could lead to frustration, anxiety, self-doubt and friction with those around you.

It takes courage and determination to make that first contact with your therapist, but once you do, you are already halfway through taking back control of your future. Let's chat about how you would like the rest of your life to look like.

More Info About My Practice

Currently providing services to California and Oregon residents via Telehealth sessions. Many of current clients have been referred by clients I had in the past, which makes me very proud of the work I do. On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

It would be shocking if you were not a bit skeptical about sharing private and personal information with, yes, a professional but someone you have not met before. Being hesitant about being vulnerable is very much link to our survival instinct. Don't judge it. Appreciate it. Then work on taking baby steps towards that vulnerable state. Let's start with a quick phone consultation that will allow you to hear my voice and listen to how I would be able to help you. You can still change your mind then and decide I was not a good match for you. I would encourage you to schedule more than one consultation with several providers so you have more to choose from. Even if you decide to schedule your first counseling session with me, keep in mind, that this is not a lifetime commitment. Give it a try, have a few sessions and test the waters. Use the first session, or even the consultation phone call, to clarify any doubts you may have about the process. The approach I use is supposed to bring results within the first three months so If that is not the case, it probably means the approach is not working for you and it is time to part ways. You don't need more time to make up your mind, just be honest with me and I will understand. I won't take it personally :) Not all approaches work for all people. But don't let that hesitation keep you from reaching your full potential. Give yourself a chance to become a better version of yourself.

Had a Negative Therapy Experience?

I am so very sorry to hear. No wonder you are hesitant to give it another try. There could be many explanations why it didn't work for you the first time. Maybe that specific provider (style, approach, personality) wasn't the right fit for you. Or maybe the timing was off (you were too young, not motivated enough). I hope it was not something worse than that, but even in the even that was the case, it does not indicate that all experiences in therapy will be the same. Let's chat about why that experience made such a negative impact on you and whether I could provide a better one.
