My Approach to Helping

Available in person or via telehealth.

Life gets complicated. You may be trying all that you know how to do but have run out of ideas, energy or both. Whether it is an old would that keeps getting in your way or you just need someone compassionate, caring and outside of your everyday life to help you work something through, what matters to you, matters to us.

The Juniper Center provides expert, individualized care by 70+ clinicians in five Chicagoland locations and throughout the states of Illinois and Indiana via teletherapy. The Juniper Center specializes in trauma recovery, depression and anxiety, diverse sexuality and gender identities, addiction treatment, and relationship and family therapy.

Founded by Dr. Margo Jacquot in 1996, The Juniper Center is one of the largest counseling and therapy practices in the area and provides counseling and psychotherapy, psychiatry and medication management, therapeutic yoga and movement therapy, and psychological testing services for all ages.

More Info About My Practice

You want a therapist who understands and respects who YOU are. Period. At The Juniper Center you will find LGBTQ centered care. We are owned and directed by a therapist and a member of our community. Your name, your pronouns, your identity belong to you. Helping you heal belongs with us.

We are very insurance friendly and always happy to verify benefits from any other plan to see if we will be covered out of network.

How Psychotherapy Can Help

By and large we all do our best in life. But we can only do what we know how to do and what our hearts and minds will allow us to do. Sometimes we make decisions even though we know it's not good for us, but we can't seem to help it. Or we feel anxious or depressed and we can't get out of it. Therapy is a process that helps us uncover and repair what is blocking us from feeling good and happy and in charge of our lives.
