My Approach to Helping
I am a British Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor offering online therapy to adult individuals in Dubai and worldwide, and in-person therapy at my private practice in Marylebone, Central London.
I work with a diverse range of people dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression and low mood, stress and burnout, trauma, relationship issues, grief and loss, overwhelm, uncertainty, and low self-worth.
I am mixed race, and having lived and worked in several countries overseas for over 20 years, I currently live in the UK. I work internationally with people based in Asia and Europe. I have worked with citizens and expats living in Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Mongolia, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Denmark.
I offer a confidential, warm and calm space to talk about what is troubling you, without judgment, so that you feel heard and valued.
I am a fully registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I hold a master's in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent's University London, a world-renowned training institution in the fields of Psychotherapy and Psychology.
More Info About My Practice
As an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, I create a personalised and holistic approach by tailoring the therapy to each person's needs.
I draw on a number of different theories and approaches that would work best in supporting our work together: person-centred, humanistic, existential, psychodynamic and relational.
I see the therapeutic process as being a collaborative relationship in which we are equal partners. Together, we explore and reflect on your thoughts, feelings and behaviours as you process your experience. With new awareness and understanding come new perspectives and options, leading to healing, change and growth.
Several studies have found that online therapy is just as effective as in-person sessions. I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation on Zoom so you can get a sense of how I work, what is feels like working with me, and whether online therapy is right for you.
It is a chance for you to ask me whatever you might need to know about me and about working together. This will also give me a better understanding of your needs and how I can help.
Current availability: I am now fully booked. You are welcome to email me to be added to the waiting list for online therapy.
