My Approach to Helping

Reaching out is a hard step - and should be commended! I specialize in working with individuals (children 6+, teens, and adults) who are experiencing struggles related to trauma histories, with a specialty in sexual assaultviolence and child abuseneglect; anxiety, general life stressors, foster care, women’s health, self-esteemself-compassion, self-harm, family relationships and dynamics, coping skills, and boundary setting. I offer individual and family therapy.

I utilize a person-centered and direct approach - and pull from and utilize various evidence-based therapeutic modalities when working with individuals; including: EMDR, TF-CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, solution focused and strengths based perspectives, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.

Therapy is not a one size fits all approach and every individual is unique. You are worth the time, full of value, and can do hard things! If you would like to connect, please reach out to me to schedule a consult or visit our website at longleafcounseling.org! I look forward to connecting and being a part of your journey!
