My Approach to Helping

Change can be scary, but positive growth is possible for everyone. By being in the moment with my clients, I can help tailor a treatment plan that is specialized to their current areas of concern. Providing a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment allows the client to work at their own pace to achieve those goals. I work with couples (communication and conflict resolution), individuals (anxiety and depression), and teens and parents in focusing on the current struggles of today (stress, suicidal ideation, bullying, self-esteem, etc). It is important to develop coping skills that will last a lifetime. Today is the perfect time to invest in your future.

More Info About My Practice

I have a private practice that offers flexible hours and the confidentiality of private pay (cash or credit card). I believe that mental health care should be private and individualized. I will never label you with a diagnosis that will be documented on your insurance company transcript. You will determine how often you schedule sessions, and together we will develop a personalized treatment plan specific to your needs. I offer online counseling through a HIPAA-compliant service. I offer a judgement and bias-free supportive environment to help you reach your highest potential.

My Role as a Therapist

Counseling is not about me telling you what to do, but rather, joining you on your journey and guiding you in your discovery of what solutions or outcome is ideal for you.

The Duration and Frequency of Therapy

Therapy sessions are individualized and based on the client's current needs. I ususally recommend scheduling weekly sessions (50-minutes) when we first begin working together. As the treatment process evolves and progresses, clients may choose to change to bi-weekly sessions. Since I work privately, I am often able to accommodate the unexpected need for last minute appointments when a crisis arises.
