My Approach to Helping
Are you tired of fighting with your partner, but can't stop? Do you find yourself constantly trying to get your message across, but can't seem to be heard? Let me reassure you that these feelings are common in a relationship, and sometimes couples just need to work on their communication skills. Do you feel that there is very little hope?
I can help by providing a judgment free environment, where you and your partner can learn new communication skills, build on your relationship and reconnect. Maybe you're going through a rough break-up, or you feel as if you lost yourself. Let's work together through your sadness, and rebuild your self-confidence.
I also enjoy working with individuals who are struggling to find themselves after a difficult event like, divorce, break up, separation, and other difficult like events.
More Info About My Practice
I am trained in Emotional Focused Therapy, along with Anger Management, and I incorporate these two modalities in working with couples, where we defuse anger, and bring forth the underlying issue, and disconnection that your relationship has faced. I work with increasing communication, active listening, increasing empathy, and rebuilding a commitment.
I also work with individuals who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and other difficult life events.
I am a trained and certified Anger Management Facilitator, and provide weekly groups for Voluntary and Court Mandated clients.

My Role as a Therapist
My role as a therapist is directive, compassionate, and authentic. I believe that each client is unique, therefor, I encourage clients to set goals for therapy, and I work with them in achieving these goals. Whether it's learning new skills to help communicate with your partner, self-exploration, minimizing anxiety or depression, I will help with guiding you to process uneasy emotions, where you can live a more meaningful and happy life.
