My Approach to Helping
Your body and mind can be uncomfortable places to be when dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain, physical injury or disability, identity questions, and trauma. It can be especially uncomfortable or even scary when you feel alone or stuck without effective ways to work through what's happening. Together, we can find ways to make your body and mind comfortable places to be that fit your life and needs.
When you come into the office, you'll be in a space that values your individual identities and needs. Our work will center emotion and thought processing and exploration while discovering new tools and making new connections. My goal is that you gain a sense of control around your life and relief from stressors. You'll also gain an understanding of your emotions and thoughts and practice experiencing emotions in a safe way that will strengthen your relationship with your mind and body. We'll collaborate to individualize tools we use to fit your life circumstances and needs so that lasting change can occur.
