Hola and Welcome! My name is Madelaine Ford (Maddy) and I am a counselor at Optimal Connections Counseling. I work with clients who are you feeling stuck, struggling with communication issues, or experiencing constant conflict in their relationships. As a Gottman-trained counselor, I understand the complexities of interpersonal dynamics and the challenges that come with them. I’m here to validate your experiences without minimizing them, providing a safe space for you to explore your emotions and concerns. I like to incorporate both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples counseling as it provides my clients with the best combination of tools to work on their relationships, uncover the underlying issues, and navigate towards a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
