My Approach to Helping
I have been a licensed therapist (LCSW) in CA since 2001. My goal is to provide a supportive, positive environment for you to have the opportunity to discuss and explore concerns in your life that may be impacting you. I know it has taken a lot for you to be here and decide you want to make a change! In these current times, many of us have had magnified anxiety, stress and strain on our relationships, as well as grief and loss. Therapy can be a great way to process, and find new opportunities to improve your overall quality of life and happiness.
I have experience working in the mental health system, hospital setting, and private practice working with children, adults, couples and families. Experience working with those suffering from chronic medical conditions, trauma, first responders, cancer, divorce, infidelity, grief & loss, coping with COVID, workplace stress, compassion fatigue and burnout.
As a seasoned therapist and in the mental health field since 1994, I strive to be the best therapist I can be. I am logical, direct and supportive. I am passionate about self empowerment and focus on a strengths based approach. Happiness and well-being are best achieved with implementing strategies that are tailored and supportive of your life.
