My Approach to Helping
My passion as a counselor is to ensure my clients are “heard”. As a therapist, I have found that the most important aspect of a counseling relationship is to truly listen to my clients’ stories and allow them a safe place to share without judgment. I recognize that every person I encounter is a unique individual and their needs will be unique, as well. I seek to develop a plan of care that is individualized upon their specific needs, desires, and goals. I have found that the best therapeutic relationship is one in which the client is an active participant in their care planning and implementation and is a collaborative effort.
