My Approach to Helping

I work with adults and couples in an integrated psychotherapeutic model tailored to each individual person and context.

Lisa Thomasos is an accomplished professional with a diverse background spanning clinical psychotherapy, counselling, and extensive experience in the corporate sector. Lisa provides in-person and virtual clinical counselling and psychotherapy services to adults, teens and couples, addressing a range of mental health challenges such as stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Known for her client-centred approach, Lisa draws from various therapeutic modalities, including Positive Psychology, Psychodynamic Psychology, Adlerian Psychology, Narrative Therapy, and CBT, fostering an environment that supports individual growth and positive change.

Lisa employs an anti-oppressive and anti-Black racism framework, providing clinical counselling and psychotherapy services to a diverse group of people, including racialized and marginalized clients who historically faced barriers to mental wellness services.

Beyond her clinical roles, Lisa has also made significant contributions in educational and career development settings as a Career Advisor and Career Educator at Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto.
