My Approach to Helping
I am a psychologist operating in 40 states across the country. I look forward to working with you!
Are you a working parent trying to balance it all? An anxious teenager trying to find their way? Someone dealing with depression or coping with trauma? I can help! I am a licensed clinical psychologist
in the state of Michigan and contracted with PSYPACT for telehealth services in other states. I
specialize in working with parents, adolescents, and other individuals dealing with life transitions
(e.g., adjustment to college and young adulthood, career change, perinatal or post-partum
issues, menopause, and retirement). I have extensive training in treating anxiety, depression,
and trauma-related disorders.
As a therapist I tend to be integrative and eclectic, utilizing
primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and trauma-
focused interventions (e.g., cognitive processing therapy, prolonged exposure). Across these
interventions, I help you challenge unhelpful thoughts and choose behaviors that are consistent
with your values. I am flexible with my approach; our sessions can be as structured or
unstructured as you would like. Above all else, I am devoted to making our sessions work for
YOU.
