My Approach to Helping
Levi Galford is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) in the state of North Carolina. He has years of experience helping adults and couples to overcome concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress management, grief, life transitions, anger, infidelity, communication issues, and other life stressors. Levi completed his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. Using a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), mindfulness skills training, and motivational skills, he tailors each session to each client's unique strengths and circumstances. In his work with couples, Levi also uses the Gottman Method to empower individuals to change negative communication patterns, increase emotional connection, and accomplish shared goals and dreams. Levi is passionate about helping individuals use their own strengths and equipping every client with new skills to help them achieve their goals. He seeks to provide individuals or couples with a place of empathy and acceptance where they can explore their goals, share without judgment, and work toward the life they have long envisioned for themselves.
